Absolute Rules

Religions, political parties and moral systems that categorically forbid are not to my taste. That's because the same absolute and unchanging rules are not suitable for every single situation and every single person. There are always exceptions. And, if one thinks about it, if one looks into every people and culture throughout history—or if one looks at what the greatest individuals, whose names are etched in history, actually did—one will realize that they always did something unusual, something that in their times would be strictly forbidden, outrageous or even something completely irrational.
